My Interview
-
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
My friends say I am the "Colossus of Roads"
What's the best thing you've done in your career?
I revolutionised the way roads are designed by making them higher in the middle than they are at the sides (like a little hill) this meant that rain water could run off easily.
What or who inspired you to follow your career?
I started as a poor stonemason and taught myself about project management and construction
Were you ever in trouble for anything?
No, I have always been very well behaved.
You may also remember me from...
They named the town of Telford in Shropshire after me.
I'm being championed by:
Helen (Colossus of Cycle Routes)
