Stephen Hawking answered on 27 Nov 2018:

      I did.
One of my most important duties outside of being a professor, was being a father. I have three children. One of which I co-wrote a fictional book series with.

Before I was diagnosed with ALS, I used to go on hikes with my sister and enjoyed dancing. During my time at university I became the coxswain for the rowing team. I also loved playing board games and even made a few when I was younger.

My parents wanted me to become a medical doctor, but I didn’t really enjoy biology in the same way I liked maths and physics.

      Great Question!
